The cure for obesity.
All clothing over a size 20 should be ugly as fuck. I'm talking about Paisley pattern, orange/brown/lime green stripes, chunky grey wool, super low-cut, crop-tops, mini-skirts...
Coz nobody wants to see that. Not even obese people. They will feel so ashamed of being incapable of dressing appropriately that they'll have no other option but to slim down.
All of these women's clothing magazines advertising sizing from 16-32... Isn't that just encouraging obesity? Is this a world we want to live in? Where a regular size 8 can't find anything decent, while people who gorge themselves on Big Macs can wear beautiful clothes?
P.S. For some reason, formatting isn't working anymore at all. If anyone could tell me why, then I would be eternally grateful.

Old posts.
See, I re-read some old blog posts, and I realise that they are a bit crap... I sound like a whining child.
But I shall keep them there. I think it's nice to see the development of a writing style. I'm kind of hoping that a year of university has made my writing more good. :p*
*Oh yeah, I now use emoticons. Put up with it, bitches.
Also, for some reason, formatting just would not work for this post. Soz.

Letter of Loss.
Dearest Jacket,
There are many things for which I must thank you. You and I have gone through all weahers together during this past year and a half. You kept me dry (ish) when the torrential rains of September washed the streets of Aberdeen. You kept me warm (ish) when snow filled the air and froze all forms of commute.
You helped me look stylish. You helped make me vaguely recognisable to friends at university ("oh look, there's a navy polkadot mac over there. That must be Fiona!") . You helped me add to the elegance of costume adopted by Judith in my first Centre Stage play (Lazybed).
I had fed you (cigarette butts and crumbs). I have watered you (with spilt tea and alcohol). I have perfumed you (with smoke, cooking scents and occasionally real perfume). I have shown you off to my world. I have adored you. I have enjoyed your warmth, your company, your texture, your imperfections.
But alas, I fear that our time together may soon be at an end. It started with a snall rip at the nape of your neck which I never got round to repairing. It rolled on to a worn-out patch at the tip of your belt. It escalated to shrunken sleeved in the wash. But now, I have noticed the extent of your age. Your escalation in fraying worries me. The black inner of your flesh is beginning to creep its way through the navy shell of your skin.
I am afraid, dearest Jacket, that you may have to be donated to charity.

Oh, by the way,
The S.O. is no longer S or an O to me. We broke up back in January. We had been going through some pretty horrible problems for over a year, and I finally took the plunge and broke it off. Since then I have had one other boyfriend, which was a disaster.
That is all.

A long, long day. Week. Month. Term?
Well, I somewhat gave up on my postan every day idea. I either did not have the time, or the energy, or the will. Or I felt I had nothing good to talk about.
Luckily enough, I now have nice things to tell the internet domain of.
1) SNOW! It's so lovely. I have, at present, had 2 classes cancelled, and I have missed another 2. The snow is a very wonderful reason to miss boring and horribly early classes. However,
2) it resulted in me missing a rehearsal for the current theatrical adventure, entitled Lazybed. It is a very good play. Very Scottish. A man reads Kant and his exploration of the metaphysical, and thus cannot see the point in getting out of bed. The play consists of the people who visit him in his "sick"-bed.
3) This play is on next week. We have been rehearsing for about 2 months. Eeek! This is the shortest rehearsal-to-performance period of time I have ever experienced, with the exception of a murder mystery, staged last October in order to raise funds for Animal Farm.
4) Everything is very beautiful, and exciting, and wonderful.

I can speak German now!*
My lecturer told me he saw excellent progress! And he was all impressed!
Yay! :)
*Can't actually speak German. I am just a bit better at the parts that I do know.

Okay, so I didn't blog every day like I said I would...
...But I have good reason for not blogging last night.
I started putting all the crap back up on my walls! :)
Now you may remember my post entitled "A change which I am not happy with", where I had taken down everything from my walls in order to redecorate. Well, 5 months later the walls are painted and the stuff is going back up. A photo of the final result shall follow...

NaBloPoMo: "What keeps you going?"
Tea and cigarettes. And cuddles from the S.O. :3
P.S. I'm in a slightly better mood today.
